Close Protection Courses currently last for a minimum of 140 hours with pre course learning an essential part of the training. The course itself is a combination of practical and classroom training with four written assessments, a final multiple-choice test and a final exercise to bring together all of the course learning in a package designed to test you in real life situations.
The training takes place in our own training rooms and various locations to suit the course thus providing a wide variety of experiences for those undertaking the training course.
Packages are available to include first aid qualification and accommodation for the duration of the course and can include other courses such as Professional Investigator, Security Managers Course or Vehicle Search Course and could be available through ELCAS.
As a minimum a 1st Aid at Work qualification is required to obtain a CP License.

Door Supervision training lasts 45 hours and includes 4 modules, Working in the Private Security Industry, Door Supervision, Conflict Resolution and Physical Intervention with a multiple-choice test or practical test for each module.
Module 1, (Working in Private Security Industry) can be completed as distance learning reducing the contact time to 32.5 hours, completed in a classroom environment.

A CCTV license is a mandatory requirement for anyone wishing to work in a Control Room and gives an insight into the laws surrounding use of CCTV, storage of images, Data protection and much more.
This training will provide an individual with the qualification to apply for a license and gain work in a control room environment.

Aurelius Security & Protection can offer a full range of First Aid courses, (First aid at work, emergency first aid and Defibrillator training) to individuals and companies both inside and outside the security industry and can tailor courses to suit your requirements.
Emergency First Aid at Work is a one-day accredited course that covers medical emergencies that may arise in the workplace and is a first aid qualification which enables learners to give emergency first aid to someone who becomes ill at work. This particular award is suited to working environments that have minimum hazards along with a low number of employees.
First Aid at Work is a three-day course that covers all the aspects of first aid that you will need in the workplace and includes all the elements of EFAW and also equips learners with the first aid knowledge and skills to tend a range of specific injuries and illnesses. This particular award is most suited to working environments that have a high hazard count and/or high numbers of employees.
First Aid Response is a four-day course that covers all the above plus a module that is flexible and directed at the particular workplace of the learners, i.e. manufacturing factory floor, construction site, working underground etc.
This is a Level 3 RQF qualification and covers all aspects of an investigation from taking instructions, carrying out the investigation, using surveillance, both manual and electronic, to assist in the investigation, interviewing suspects, statement taking, writing your own statement, how to keep records and report writing and submission.
This is an excellent course to complement a Close Protection Course.
Qualification is obtained through two externally set exam papers and a portfolio of evidence completed throughout the course.
This Level 3 qualification is aimed at those already managing security teams or those who are, or want to, develop their careers from security officer to supervisor/manager/T/L levels.
It provides the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to manage security teams and apply effective protective measures at a client property to ensure safety and security of all parties.
This course is 60 hours long with 20 hours completed as distance learning and 40 hours contact time in a classroom/practical environment with assessment through a portfolio of evidence, MCQ paper, Products of Work and Observational assessments.
This is a 6-hour course delivered in a face to face classroom and practical based scenario and designed to give those undertaking it an insight into the search procedures required to properly search a vehicle, how to deal with the occupants, signs to look for, threats, and much more.
This is assessed by an MCQ paper and practical observation.
This qualification is aimed at all individuals working in a customer facing environment to provide them with introductory skills which enable them to recognise behaviours which might lead to safety or security threats to themselves or public.
It is an excellent qualification to sit alongside a Vehicle Search or Close Protection Course and looks at the signs that indicates levels of stress in an individual or individuals who may be operating outside the law and is assessed using an MCQ paper.
